1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using SessionTimer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
SessionTimer is operated by SessionTimer, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). The Service provides a visual session timer designed for therapists, counselors, and other professionals who conduct timed sessions.
2. Description of Service
SessionTimer provides:
- A web-based countdown timer for professional sessions
- Shareable client views accessible via unique links
- Customizable session templates
- Optional sound alerts and visual warnings
- Session history and management tools
The Service is intended as a time management tool only. It does not collect, store, or process any client/patient health information.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Subscription and Payment
Free Plan: Limited to 10 sessions per month with basic features.
Paid Plans: Pro and Team subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period, after which you will be moved to the Free plan.
Refunds: We offer refunds within 14 days of initial purchase if you are unsatisfied with the Service. Contact support@sessiontimer.app for refund requests.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by SessionTimer, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service (such as custom templates). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Timer accuracy depends on your device and internet connection.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SESSIONFLOW, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users.
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
